Winemaker's notes: "Dusty tannins and subdued fruit on the nose
belie the engaging flavors to follow. The smooth entry showcases balanced oak
and tannins that envelop the dark, rich flavors. A delicious essence of mocha weaves
through notes of juicy Chelan cherry, ripe boysenberry, pomegranate and
cranberry coulis with a touch of blood orange, which create brightness on the
palate. Hints of fine herbs and chocolate appear as the wine approaches the
long finish."
