Bright aromatics of citrus blossom, spicy cedar and black
pepper weave through a ripe juicy blackberry essence. On the palate, it’s all
about the luscious fruit. A lovely fusion of blackberry, black raspberry and
huckleberry with a trace of Mission fig bathes the mouth with rich, seamlessly
smooth flavors. The structure initially stays one step removed with its dark
tones of mocha-laced oak and silky tannins. As the wine reaches the finish, the
flavors and structure integrate and linger.
Here’s a wine to sip while star gazing or sitting around a
roaring fire. It will also pair nicely with pasta primavera tossed with
garlic-sauteed shrimp, or pork tenderloin with three-berry salsa served with
orzo salad.
