The nose fills with plump, vine-ripened blackberry laced
with spicy black pepper as this brawny wine flexes its muscles. The palate
reveals a mélange of concentrated flavors —wild blackberry, ripe mulberry, dark
cherry and Black Beauty plum. A brambly quality, along with a texture
staccatoed with peppery spice, add to the untamed nature of this powerful Zin. The
well-integrated structure of oak and acidity helps keep this wild beast in
check, allowing us the pleasure of its company.
Grab this wine when you’ve got the perfect red meat meal,
like a grilled wild boar backstrap or a thick juicy T-bone steak.
