Deep,
seemingly endless aromatics of black currant, blackberry and traces of wild
blueberry mingled with traces of cigar box captivate the nose. The silken entry
flows into the opulent flavors of ripe Greengage plum, mixed dark berries and
Kordia cherry. Hints of spicy cedar weave through the wine along with
striations of sweet oak notes. The firm yet yielding structure supports the
flavors with a gentle embrace. Once opened, this is a wine that will quickly
disappear, leaving pleasant memories behind.
Enjoy sharing
this wine over a meal of rack of pork served with asparagus and pea risotto, or
lamb tagine served over saffron rice.
